Layout Options
Step 1: Header/Footer Styles
Check out the different sample header/footer styles below. Any of the header/footer styles can be used with any of the homepage layouts designs listed in the section below. All styles include any of the YMCA approved color schemes - Blue Purple, Green Blue, Orange Green, Red Orange, or Purple Red.
Step 2: Homepage Slideshow Options
Below are different homepage slideshow area options. You will be able to toggle between slideshow or background video on your live site at any time. You can decide if you have a video for this month or need a few slides for the next.
Background Video
A background video autoplays on page load a video from YouTube. You may put additional text over the video.
Background Video Half-size
Same as the background video, just not as tall of a video. This option will automatically crop the top & bottom of the video to be about half the height of normal.
Image Slideshow
A regular image slideshow that auto rotates slides. Each slide can have title, description and link to anywhere.
Step 3: Homepage Layouts
Check out the different sample homepage layouts below. Any of the designs listed may use either the slideshow or background video section.
Layout 1
Large sections with large image that fades to white with description text overlay. Unlimited sections allowed.
Layout 2
Same as Layout 1 with boxed-in description text overlaying the image instead of fade. Easily change the box background to any YMCA color.
Layout 3
Large image boxes that you can link to anywhere on your site. Created unlimited boxes & easily change the color of a box to any YMCA color scheme color.
Layout 4
Customizable button call outs & today's events listing. Three most recent news articles call out above the same large image sections from Layout 1.
Layout 5
Small row of customizable call out buttons, recent news article headings, & mini events calendar above the same large image sections from Layout 1.
Layout 6
Large news article listing in the left column with info center, events mini calendar, and customizable call out buttons in the sidebar.
Layout 7
A slider that can be display logos of companies that you either partner with, or are major donors to your YMCA.
Custom Layout
Use the preceding layouts as your starting guide. Ask us about mix and matching layouts as well as adding your own custom content sections to the homepage layouts!
