Thanksgiving is a time for thanks...
This year the Thrive YMCA is collecting for those of us who are less fortunate. Our goal is to collect enough groceries to feed 250 families at Thanksgiving. The drive starts On Monday November 21st and ends on Wednesday November 23rd at 3:00pm. This will allow time for the distribution of groceries by 7:00 pm on Wednesday night.
Your contributions can be dropped off at the Thrive YMCA, any Walt Churchill's Marketplace or Tuffy Auto Service Center.
Walt Churchill's Market is participating this year by offering a 5% discount on selected purchases for the food drive. The following is a list of items that qualify:
- Ham
- Turkey
- Yams
- Prepared Salads
- Canned Vegetables
- Potatoes
- Stuffing
They are also offering a pre-bagged selection of groceries in $10, $25, $50 and $100 price points.
